Family photographs are tricky.
There is always at least one child who refuses to smile.
It is usually the 2 year old.
This year it was Miss Ruthie's turn.
Her Auntie deemed it the "year of the grumpy princess."
She was no fun.
Today I got the big print of our family picture.
She looked at it and said, "Mommy, next time I will smile."
Then she decided to practice.
"See, Mom, I was sad right there."
Just look at this precious girl.
This sweet smile would have been lovely in our photo.
