Our last day in Colorado Springs! We went to the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo. My stars, that place is literally on a mountain side. It is uphill pretty much the whole time. Our stroller was loaded down with three children, a cooler, water bottles, sweatshirts and the diaper bag. It was a work out! EJ pushed it the whole time. He is the man!
Eeeekkk!
We are not off to a good start with this guy.
These sweet little ponies were more my speed.
The bald eagle was majestic. It seems fitting that he is living in this beautiful place.
This little baby Orangutan was fun to watch. I like how the Momma is just laying there like she is over it. She is probably ready for a post lunch nap and her naughty baby wants to play!
Baby E was snoozing away.
Baby D was saying, "OUT!" He loves animals and he wanted to be near them the whole time.
Daddy and the 5 oldest enjoyed feeding the birds.
A quick stop for lunch. The kids were distracted by the peacock family. It was pretty cute to see those little babies.
The favorite part of their day was feeding the giraffes!
This momma lion had three lion cubs.
Baby D wanted to give Q a hug. These pictures are beyond precious to me. I love these boys!
The zoo has a road that leads to the "Will Rogers Shrine of the Sun". By the time we made it up there, two of our little ones were fast asleep so we didn't get out to explore. The view was beautiful.
Tonights Menu: GF Spaghetti and Salad
Washing up laundry now. Another major benefit of staying in a VRBO home. No massive post vacation laundry pile for me!
